Hearing people’s firsthand experiences is one of the most effective ways of engaging the public and helping them understand what adoption and fostering is all about.  We get daily requests from TV, radio, magazines and newspapers wanting to talk to our media volunteers. BBC3 documentary seeks search and reunion people

BBC Television would like to make a documentary about someone searching for their birth mother and/or father, or someone they were probably parted from at a young age: so you are a either foundling or were given up for adoption as a baby.

As this film is for BBC3 (a channel aimed at younger viewers), they would ideally like to find someone aged between 18 - 26. With your agreement, they would like to spend time with you, get to know you to some degree and then follow you as you  begin the search. They would like to start filming in September and stay with you on and off for probably about six months.
